Sound Familiar?

You're Standing In Aisle 12, Completely Lost.

"I have no idea what I'm looking at."
"Which one of these 20 glues do I need?"
"I bought the wrong thing. Again."

A wall of timber. Twenty types of glue. A dozen paint finishes that all sound the same. So you grab something, hope for the best, and end up back there on Saturday returning it.

It isn't you. Nobody ever explained it. This guide does, in about the time it takes to drink a coffee.

Who's Behind It

Hi, I'm Jade. I Wrote This For You.

I was handed my first paintbrush at seven, bought my first fixer-upper at 18, and I've been renovating ever since. My dad's an electrician who taught me the how. My mum taught me the wow.

Today I teach thousands of women to DIY with confidence. I've worked with brands like Bosch and Ryobi, and with Bunnings, Australia's biggest hardware store. In July 2026 my home was on the cover of their magazine.

I remember exactly how overwhelming it felt to stand in a hardware store with no idea what I was looking at. This is the guide I wished I'd had. It's free, because every woman deserves to feel confident in her own home.
