Sound Familiar?

Your Home Is Fine. It Just Feels A Little Plain.

"It's all a bit builder basic."
"Something's missing, I just can't put my finger on it."
"I'd love it to feel like us."

So many houses are built or renovated to be practical, modern and appealing to everyone. And while there's absolutely nothing wrong with that, sometimes they end up feeling a little plain.

Have you ever walked into a home and immediately felt something special? The architectural details, the warmth of the timber, the way everything feels like it belongs together. That home has personality. And yours can too.

You Don't Need To Change Everything To Change How Your Home Feels.

Who's Behind It

Hi, I'm Jade. This Is How I Did It.

When we built our house, I deliberately kept a lot of the finishes fairly basic, because I knew I wanted to add the beautiful details myself. And over the years, that's exactly what I've done.

Wall panelling, built-in bookcases, timber details, feature walls, clever storage and all sorts of little touches have gradually turned our house into a home that feels like us. In July 2026 it was on the cover of Bunnings Magazine.

Some of these ideas are weekend DIY projects. Others are a little more involved. But every single one starts with looking at an ordinary space and imagining what it could become.
